Configuration
📄️ Analysis input
Connectors allow users to automatically retrieve a large number of files from external sources such as email or S3 buckets. Users can configure this service from the Appliance status page. Click on a connected Hub, then click the Connectors button.
📄️ Appliance configuration
Spectra Detect Manager allows users to modify configuration settings on Spectra Analyze and Spectra Detect appliances directly from the Manager interface. The Central Configuration feature makes it easier to configure appliances remotely, and to ensure that the settings are consistent and correct across multiple appliances. The appliances must first be connected and authorized on the Manager instance.
📄️ Filter Management
Filter Management provides users with advanced capabilities for managing filters that can be applied across supported Egress Integrations Connectors. Users can create new filters, edit existing ones, and remove any filters that are no longer required. The Advanced Filter can be enabled in Central Configuration > Egress Integration > File Storage for each supported Connector.
📄️ Redundancy
Spectra appliances are designed to be fully redundant. All components are built so that if one fails, another one can immediately take over using the same configuration settings as used on the one before. This chapter describes how redundancy works for Spectra Detect.
📄️ YARA sync
The YARA Sync page (Administration ‣ YARA Synchronization) allows users to easily track the status of YARA ruleset synchronization between connected appliances, and trigger a manual synchronization if rules are not up-to-date. The Manager stores all synchronized rules in a local database and becomes the single source of truth for all connected appliances.
