T1000 R1
T1000 R1 is the Malware Presence appliance. It supports only the TCA-0101 (File Reputation / Malware Presence) API, and does not support XREF (TCA-0103) or RLDATA (TCA-0104).
When R1 is integrated with Spectra Analyze or Spectra Detect, RCA2 data becomes available to that product through the integration. RCA2 is not a directly callable endpoint.
Limitations
- Hashes: R1 can only return the SHA1 hash for a queried sample. MD5 and SHA256 require RLDATA (TCA-0104), which is only available on T1000 XG and T1000 Assure.
- Multi-scanner detections: Not available. R1 does not expose per-scanner detection data.
- Malware Description: The Malware Description link is present in the web interface, but on R1 it never contains content, since the underlying data requires RLDATA.
File reputation (TCA-0101)
The File Reputation (Malware Presence) service provides information about the malware status of requested samples.
