Version: Spectra Analyze 9.9.0

Feature Gaps

The new UI is being rolled out incrementally. Some features available in the classic Spectra Analyze UI are not yet available in the new interface and will redirect you to the classic UI when accessed.

Features marked with a "Classic" label in the navigation will automatically redirect you to the classic UI when selected. The primary feature that links to the classic UI is the Graph visualization page.

Most administration features also link to the classic UI. See Administration for details on which administrative functions are available in the new UI and which redirect to the classic interface.

Limited functionality in new UI

Some features are available in the new UI but with reduced functionality compared to the classic UI.

URL submissions

URL submissions in the new UI do not offer configuration options. You can submit URLs for analysis, but advanced options available in the classic UI are not yet supported.

File analysis options

The Advanced Analysis Options for file submissions are limited to Static Analysis (Spectra Core), Threat Intelligence (Spectra Intelligence), and Dynamic Analysis (RL Cloud Sandbox). Auxiliary analysis options, third-party analysis integrations, and interactive analysis features are not available in the new UI.

For full analysis customization options, use the classic UI.

Sample details reports

Sample details reports in the new UI are not as comprehensive as in the classic UI. Some sections, such as third-party integration results, are not displayed. For complete analysis reports, view samples in the classic UI.

Accessing classic UI features

If you need access to a feature that is not yet available in the new UI, look for features marked with the "Classic" label in the sidebar. These will automatically redirect you to the classic UI when selected.

Alternatively, you can switch your interface preference to classic UI temporarily by selecting the User menu in the top right corner and choosing Switch to Classic UI. After accessing the feature you need, switch back to the new UI by selecting Switch to New UI from the User menu.

tip

If you feel like a feature is missing or cannot find what you are looking for in the new UI, consult the classic UI documentation or switch to the classic interface to access the full feature set.
